Hey it’s Big D. I’ve been a bigger guy my whole life. Right? And since I’ve moved here to Las Vegas, I’ve seen a lot of different options for weight loss surgery and I decided to go with my friends here at Blossom Bariatrics.
Not only do they care about the procedure, they care about you as a person. You’re not just another number. You’re not just more money. You’re not just another patient. They really care about who you are and everything about your life and to make it better.
So that’s what I’m here to do today…not the surgery today…that’s coming later, but today I’m going through an overview. They’re going to draw some blood. That’s coming up a little bit later.
So I’m basically going to walk you through the entire process of what I’m doing at Blossom Bariatrics here today. Come on.
Warm Springs Surgical Center, which is actually right next door to Blossom where this whole journey started not long ago. Today is gastric sleeve day. There’s three separate options available. I’m doing the sleeve, I felt it was best for me and the doctor felt that way too.
So basically the prep is get an I.V. ready to go. I’m ready to go. I’m naked under the robe, which is a little weird, so like everything’s hanging out, but other than that we’re ready to go. I feel good, confident.
I’ve reached out to people through Facebook. Excuse me. There’s actually a group on Facebook about the different surgeries you can get. I reached out and told my story, which is on my blog page at 931theparty.com and everybody raved about Dr. Tom here, so I’m excited to get in there and get going. I’m all set. I’m like a football player except I’m not playing. I’m sleeping in just a few minutes behind the door, behind the camera. So I’m excited.
