From my first interview or consultation with Mindi and the team, those that work in the lab, Dr. Umbach is so patient and professional and really takes the time to not only make sure that he talks the client, myself, through the surgery and post surgery, but also keeps your loved ones involved, especially on the surgery day. He keeps them very well informed of what’s going on. So I had surgery on a Friday and I was receiving phone calls on Saturday and Sunday from the staff to make sure that I was okay and to see if there’s anything that I needed. Since the surgery, not only has my energy increased every day, but my quality of life has continued to improve. I was able to go ziplining in Puerto Rico in August, which I would not have been able to do had I not had the surgery and started on this better road with my health. So I’m finding myself wanting to shop and improve my wardrobe and dress like I used to dress before I had these health issues that lead to my weight gain. Even my family sees what an improvement, my spirit and my overall just my overall interactions day to day, have improved because of how I’m feeling and how much healthier I am because of the surgery.
