Hi, my name is Sheryl. I had surgery on June 26th at North Vista Hospital.
I actually came to Blossom Bariatrics through a friend who had the gastric sleeve surgery and she told me about it. So I called and made an appointment. I never thought I would have it done and I did.
I finally got it on the 26th of June. I went to North Vista. They were really nice. They made me feel comfortable. I was afraid, but everything turned out okay. I woke up. I was okay. I had a little heaviness in my chest, but other than that, everything was okay. I went home.
The hardest part about it was not eating for two weeks after. I would just do the protein shakes. After about a week or two it got a little better. It got easier for me.
I am now exercising. I am more active. I have been going to the gym about five days a week. I have lost about 30 pounds now. I went from a size 18-20 to a size 14.
Yes, I would recommend it to all my friends and family. Actually, we love to eat and stuff so yes, I did recommend this procedure to a few friends of mine and they will be calling you to schedule.
