Here is a look into the last 2 years of my life…
The weight fell off, literally. I have maintained my weight, of 180, since last November, 1 year post op. Even after conceiving TWINS, I gained ALL baby, and within two weeks, had lost it all.
I am healthy, I am happy, I am in AWE. I am ALIVE. I included my drivers license from before my surgery, and my new drivers license from a last month. I found myself BAWLING in the DMV when the license was printed and handed to me. “That’s ME?” I found myself stammering. I am still in shock whenever I see photos of me. I still see the woman I was BEFORE the surgery, because there was nothing wrong with the woman I was, save the fact, that my weight was KILLING me.
I have a whole new life, a new identity, I am a NEW person. And I will always be eternally grateful for this surgery, that saved my life.
