The schedule outline for your visit is as follows. Keep in mind you will be given your actual arrival times the week before your surgery.
Day 1: You will arrive at the Blossom office to complete your consultation. You will meet with your FastTrack Coordinator, surgeon and dietitian. You will complete lab work testing, EKG and a stress echo test.
Timeframe: You will be here for approximately 4 hours, sometime between 8am-4pm. Transportation will pick you up from the hotel and bring you back to the hotel once complete.
Day 2: You will arrive at Warm Springs Surgical Center for your EGD. A midline will be placed during this time.
Timeframe: You will be here for approximately 3 hours, sometime between 7am-4pm.
Transportation will pick you up from the hotel and bring you back to the hotel once complete.
Day 3: You will arrive at Warm Springs Surgical Center for your surgery!
Timeframe: You will be here for approximately 6 hours, sometime between 7am-4pm.
Transportation will pick you up from the hotel and bring you back to the hotel once complete. You must have an adult over the age of 18 accompany you to this appointment. You will not be discharged without another adult present.
Day 4: You will arrive at Blossom Bariatrics for your IV therapy appointment! This is the final step of your procedure. You will meet with our MA’s and complete IV therapy in our dedicated room.
Timeframe: You will be here for approximately 2 hours, sometime between 8am-2pm.
Transportation will pick you up from the hotel and bring you back to the hotel once complete.
Day 5: You will begin your funnel diet today as outlined in the Blossom Bariatrics binder. You may return back home OR extend your stay!
