Hi, I’m Michelle Phelan, nutritionist at Blossom Bariatrics. Today we are going to answer some frequently asked questions from our patients.
Tina from Tucson, Arizona, writes, “I have a family barbecue picnic coming up and I am three months post surgery. I’m not sure what I will be able to eat.”
Well Tina, there are plenty of foods you can eat at a barbeque picnic.
For instance, at three months post surgery, you should be well into your solid foods at this point. So, slow cooked meat, pork and beans can work, in moderation, lots of veggies–lots of grilled vegetables work really well.
Remember, lots and lots of water for those hot summer months.
I hope you found this information useful. If you have any additional questions, please visit us at www.blossombariatrics.com.
Until next time. Have a healthy day.
