If you’re….
1) Tired:
Exercise in the morning
2) Out of time:
Do 5-10 min bursts in between activities/appts
3) In pain:
Talk to a professional about alternative movements
4) The primary caretaker:
Involve your kids or others…try dancing, jump ropes, games
5) Lonely:
Ask a friend; try a group class and make a new friend
6) Unable to walk:
Do upper body movements like jumping jack arms or arm circles
7) Bored:
Distract yourself with good music, a book on tape, march in front of the TV, involve a friend
8) Hating it:
Think of something you enjoy doing then find a way to increase your body’s movement while doing it! That counts!
