Mix Up Your Protein Shakes!

Mix up your protein shakes

Many of our clients ask “Will I have to drink a protein drink every day for the rest of my life?!” Generally, my answer is not unless you want to! Once you are able to get your protein requirements in with ‘regular food’, it’s okay to omit your protein drinks or shakes. However, some clients find it to be a quick and easy alternative that helps reach their protein goals. In that case, it’s fun to mix it up! Here are some yummy recipes for protein shakes that you can make with your desired protein powder!

  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup loosely packed spinach
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/3 cup ice

Blend after adding every two ingredients, adding ice last. Serve cold.
