Hi, I’m Michelle Phelan, nutritionist at Blossom Bariatrics. Today we are going to answer some frequently asked questions from our clients.
Steven, from Chicago, Illinois, writes, “I hear you can gain weight after bariatric surgery. How can this happen?”
Well Steven, that is a good question. Typically, you can basically eat through your surgery if you don’t listen to the signals that your new stomach, or new your pouch is sending.
Every client has different levels of satiety, meaning that every client has different feelings of fullness. Please, learn your feeling of fullness first and don’t go beyond that point, and you should be okay.
I hope you found this information useful. If you have any additional questions, please visit us at www.blossombariatrics.com.
Until next time. Have a healthy day.
